VEHICLE STUCK IN SNOWBANK WITH DRIVER ASLEEP RESULTS IN MALE BEING CHARGED FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING.

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) - Officers of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) are always looking for criminal driving behaviour.
On January 22, 2026 at 8:59am, Huntsville O.P.P. officers were notified of a vehicle partially stuck in a snowbank at an address on King William Street in Huntsville. Muskoka EMS and Huntsville officers arrived on scene and determined the two occupants of the vehicle to be medically fine. However, It became apparent to officers the male driver was impaired.
As a result of the investigation, Adam BROWN, 46 years old of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Possession of schedule 1 substance
- Possession of schedule III substance
- Drive motor vehicle with Liqour readily available
Also charged in this investigation is the vehicle passenger, Tracy O’NEIL, 45 years old of Bracebridge Ontario:
- Possession of Schedule III substance
Both of the accused were released and are to appear in March 2026 before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Ontario.
The driver was also issued a 90 Administrative Driver’s License Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
