BRACEBRIDGE OPP HAS CHARGED ANOTHER DRIVER AT A RIDE CHECK

(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) - The Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver at a RIDE program in Bracebridge.
On Saturday February 21, 2026 10:30 pm, officers with the Central Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) team were conducting a RIDE check on Ecclestone Drive in Bracebridge. Officers became concerned about the condition of one driver and subsequently arrested and charged 20-year-old Rowan GERARD of Muskoka Lakes Township with Impaired Operation and Over 80. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 7, 2026 to answer to his charges.
