CALEDON OPP COMMUNITY STREET CRIME UNIT LAYS NUMEROUS CHARGES IN CONNECTION TO DRUG TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION

(CALEDON, ON) - Members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid numerous charges against three individuals following a recent warrant execution.
In Autumn 2025, the Caledon CSCU entered into a drug trafficking investigation. With the assistance of Nottawasaga and Southern Georgian Bay CSCU’s, a search warrant was executed upon a residence in the Town of Caledon.
Officers seized approximately 19 grams of Cocaine and various pills, as well as items consistent with the sale and trafficking of drugs, including a cell phone, digital scales, and packaging materials.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and charged.
Lindsay ELLIOTT, 33, of Bolton, was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance - two counts
- Breach of Recognizance
Matthew REGENT, 39, of Bolton, was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Breach of Recognizance
James WILSON, 41, of Brighton, was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
The accused parties are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 20, 2025, to answer to the charges.
