Public Support Requested Locating Family Dog
(CALEDON, ON) - Members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a home invasion which took place in Caledon on Tuesday.
On March 17, 2026, at approximately 1:50 am, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a residence in the area of Mount Hope Road and Old Church Road, in the Town of Caledon.
During the incident, the family dog, Dumbledore, fled the home and has not yet been located. The dog is described as small, white, with curly/wavey fur. Investigators and the family are asking members of the public to be on the lookout and report any possible sightings.
The investigation into the robbery remains ongoing by Caledon Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with assistance from the Caledon Major Crime Unit (MCU) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS). There is no threat to public safety at this time.
