(ORILLIA, ON) - The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has been conducting a criminal investigation on Barrie Road in the City of Orillia.
A large police presence on Barrie Road was conducting a search for a wanted male in connection with a criminal investigation. The Orillia OPP Detachment along with the Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and the OPP Helicopter searched the area.
The identity of the male is known but he was not located at this time. Due to the nature of the investigation the identity of the male will not be released. There is no threat to public safety.
