HEAD-ON COLLISION LEADS TO FATALITY IN SOUTH FRONTENAC

(HARROWSMITH, ON) - One individual is deceased following a collision on Road 38 in Harrowsmith, South Frontenac.
On Thursday, May 7, 2026, at approximately 11:40 am, members of the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a head-on collision involving two vehicles.
A 57-year-old female from South Frontenac was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other individuals were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Members of the Frontenac OPP continue to investigate the collision with assistance from the OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team. Road 38 between Quinn Road and Wilton Road was closed for several hours for investigation.
