The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made four arrests and laid dozens of charges following a home invasion investigation in Oakville.

On February 24, 2026, at approximately 10:00 am three masked suspects, one armed with a hammer, forced entry through the front door of a residence on Settlers Road in Oakville. An adult female was confronted by the suspects and confined to a closet as the suspects stole multiple items of designer clothing totaling in excess of $70,000. The suspects then fled in a Honda CRV.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries and no firearms were seen.

The Two District Criminal Investigations Bureau took carriage of the investigation and utilized a variety of investigative techniques in an effort to identify the suspects. On March 13, 2026, Criminal Code and CDSA search warrants were executed at residences in Brantford. As a result, multiple items were seized:

drugs:

  • 4.5 ounces of crack cocaine
  • 12 ounces of fentanyl
  • 1 kilogram of cocaine
  • 120 hydromorphone pills
  • 25 ounces of Methamphetamine

Firearms seized:

  • Two loaded Glock handguns
  • One loaded Glock magazine
  • Multiple rounds of ammunition

Recovered Stolen Property:

  • Honda CRV (Stolen from Toronto)
  • License plates (Stolen from Brantford)
  • Property stolen from Oakville home invasion

As a result of the investigation Dontee Golding (male,32) of Brantford, has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery
  • Break and Enter
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Forcible Confinement
  • Possession of a Loaded Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
  • Careless Storage of a Prohibited Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Prohibited Device
  • Careless Storage of Ammunition
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (5 Counts) – Fentanyl, Cocaine, Hydromorphone, Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime -Over $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (3 Counts)
  • Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Order
  • Fail to Comply with Sentence or Disposition

A 30 year old male of Kitchener, has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery
  • Break and Enter
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (2 Counts)

Teala Talley-Downey (female, 32), of Brantford, has been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Loaded Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts)
  • Careless Storage of a Prohibited Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
  • Careless Storage of a Prohibited Device
  • Careless Storage of Ammunition
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000

Tewodros Neuman (male, 27), of Brantford, has been charged with the following:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (2 Counts)

All accused’s have been held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
