On May 17, 2026, at approximately 3:41pm, Halton Police were notified of a serious motor vehicle collision that involved a motorcycle and a Honda sedan motor vehicle on Twiss Road just north of Derry Road in the Town of Milton.

The Honda, driven by a male 17 year old, was travelling southbound on Twiss Road as the motorcycle, operated by a 54 year old man, was travelling northbound. As both motor vehicles maneuvered through a sharp curve, the two motor vehicles collided head on. The 54 year old male was transported to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.

Due to the significance of the collision and injuries sustained, the Collision Reconstruction Unit was requested to attend to support the investigation and scene documentation. Due to the remoteness of the collision, limited traffic interference was sustained.
