The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating an arson involving a tow truck in Burlington.
On February 26, 2026, at approximately 2:45 am, police and Burlington Fire responded to a fire involving a tow truck parked on Morris Drive, near the intersection of Harvester Road.
The truck was hauling a flatbed trailer that was loaded with an orange Hitachi excavator. Both the cab of the truck and the excavator were fully engulfed in flames.
Police are also asking anyone who may have dash camera footage from the Harvester Road and Morris Drive area between 2:30 am and 3:00 am to contact investigators.
