(LONDON, ON) - An illegal dispensary has been shut down in London, and police have laid Criminal Code (CC) and Cannabis Act (CA) charges against one individual.

The storefront has been shut down and will be held under Interim Closure Orders as per section 18(1) of the Cannabis Control Act (CCA).

Persons with interest in the location (including owners) who wish to enter these premises may apply to the Superior Court of Justice for permission under section 18(4) of the CCA. Unauthorized entry into a building subject to an interim closure may result in charges of breaking and entering under section 348(1) of the CC.

Tyler LARSON, age 22 of London, was charged with the following three offences contrary to the CC and the CA:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
  • Possession of illicit cannabis

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London on September 5, 2025.
