(Fort Frances, ON) - A pair of search warrants executed in Fort Frances led to the arrest of six people with a quantity of drugs and cash seized.

On March 03, 2026, the Fort Frances Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Kenora OPP CSCU, Dryden OPP CSCU, the Provincial Operations Intelligence Bureau (POIB), OPP Canine Unit and the Treaty Three Police Service executed search warrants in the Faith Housing Complex and the Third Street East area of Fort Frances.

Searches conducted by the OPP at both locations resulted in the seizure of approximately $1000 in cash and approximately 70 grams of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine combined. Six people were arrested and charged as follows.

  • Natasha JACK 23-years old, and Yvonne ADAMS 50-years-old both from Fort Frances are each charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule I substance (cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioid). Both accused were released by police with a first appearance in Fort Frances Court scheduled for April 23, 2026
  • 17-year-old from Toronto who can not be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule I substance (cocaine, methamphetamine, and opioid), and one count of possession of property or proceeds of crime under $5000. This accused was held by police and has a bail hearing next on March 09, 2026, in Fort Frances
  • 17-year-old from North York who can not be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule I substance (methamphetamine and opioid) and one count of possession of property or proceeds of crime under $5000. This accused was held by police and has a bail hearing next on March 09, 2026, in Fort Frances
  • Adrianna COPENACE 27-years-old from Fort Frances is charged with one count of failing to comply with a release order other than to attend court. This accused was released by police with a first appearance in Fort Frances Court scheduled for April 23, 2026
  • Dawn JOURDAIN, 42-years-old from Fort Frances, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule I substance (methamphetamine and opioid). This accused was released by police with a first appearance in Fort Frances Court scheduled for April 23, 2026
