(SHABAQUA, ON) - Members of the Shabaqua Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision involving two tractor trailer units.
On Thursday, May 20, 2026, at approximately 8:30 pm ET, OPP officers along with Emergency Medical Services responded to reports of a collision on Highway 11/17, west of Shabaqua.
One individual was pronounced deceased on scene. Two other individuals, a driver and passenger, were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
