One arrested in fatal collision investigation
(SHUNIAH, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad have made an arrest in relation to a fatal collision that happened on Highway 11/17 near Mirror Lake in Shuniah Township on December 17, 2023.
As a result of the investigation Chelsey KILAR, 36-years-old, of Red Rock Ontario has been arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for the following charges under the Criminal Code:
- Dangerous operation causing death
- Operation causing death
- Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7, 2025
