11 Charges Laid, 1 Male Arrested in Street Crime Investigation – St Catharines

In October 2025, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) Street Crime Unit (SCU) began an investigation into the trafficking of Fentanyl. The investigation led detectives to two addresses in the City of St Catharines. Detectives applied for and were subsequently granted judicial search warrants for both addresses.

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, with the assistance from the Emergency Task Unit (ETU), detectives with the SCU arrested a male and executed the search warrants, resulting in the following seized items:

43.5 grams suspected fentanyl (street value of $4350)

  • $750 Canadian Currency
  • Stun Baton
  • Expandable Baton
  • Brass Knuckles
  • Crossbow

41-year-old Dustin LANDRY of St Catharines is charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl) (2 counts)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Prohibited Weapon (3 counts)
  • Possession of a Weapon Contrary to Order (4 Counts)
  • Disobey Court Order

LANDRY attended a bail hearing on January 21, 2026.
