30-Year-Old St. Catharines Man Charged with Drug Trafficking Near a Niagara Falls Shelter

On Monday May 25, 2026, at approximately 3:15 pm, detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) Street Crime Unit (SCU) were in the area of Main Street and Ferry Street, in the city of Niagara Falls, when they observed a male conducting multiple drug transactions on an electric scooter.
The male attended a nearby shelter and was arrested by detectives as he attempted to make another drug transaction.
30-year-old Antonio IULIANI , of St. Catharines was charged with the following offences.
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking (Opioid Fentanyl)
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking (Cocaine)
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking Opioid Hydromorphone)
Detectives seized the following items from IULIANI.
- 35.5 grams of suspected fentanyl (estimated value $3,550)
- 14.1 grams of suspected cocaine (estimated value $1,440)
- 42 tablets of suspected Dilaudid (estimated value $420)
- $6,000 of Canadian Currency
- Bear Spray
IULIANI was released with a future court date.
