Suspects to Identify in Pepper Spraying Incident – Niagara Falls

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have been investigating an assault involving pepper spray.
The incident occurred on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at approximately 11:30 pm, near Buckeye Crescent and Kalar Road in Niagara Falls. A taxi dropped off a male and female in that area after picking them up near the casino on Fallsview Boulevard. The male and female left the taxi without paying and when the driver asked them to pay, the male pepper sprayed the driver and the pair fled on foot.
The taxi driver, an adult male, was treated on scene by Niagara EMS.
Both suspects are described as white and in their 20’s.
Detectives have made efforts to identify the suspects but have yet to be successful. They are asking for public assistance in identifying and locating the suspects in this incident. They have included photos of the suspects for the public to view.
