Detectives with 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) Criminal Investigative Branch (CIB) continue to investigate this assault. On Monday, March 9, 2026, with assistance from 1 District Street Crime Unit (SCU), a second suspect was arrested in this matter.
37-year-old Devon CATCHPAW of St Catharines is charged with the following criminal offences:
- Aggravated Assault
- Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Weapon
- Possession of Dangerous Weapon
- Disguised with Intent
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Possession of a Weapon Contrary to a Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
CATCHPAW remains in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
