(WEST NIPISSING, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a residential fire in St-Charles.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at approximately 4:00 am, the Nipissing West OPP, the St-Charles Fire Department and the French River Fire Department responded to a residential fire on King Street East in St-Charles, where two people have died.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing by the Nipissing West OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services in partnership with members from the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM).
