(WEST NIPISSING, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) involved in the theft of copper wire.
On Wednesday May 7, 2025, members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the theft of a large amount of copper wire on Guenette Road, West Nipissing.
Unknown person(s) had removed the grounding copper wire from about 30 utility poles, with an estimate repair value of $40,000.
Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the theft or possession of this item.
