PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED WITH THE THEFT OF LUMBER

(ST. CHARLES, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) of interest in the theft of lumber.
On Monday May 11, 2026, the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft of lumber from a local business in St. Charles.
Sometime in the late evening hours on May 7, 2026, unknown person(s) attended the property and removed forty pieces of pressure treated lumber from the property.
Investigators are looking to speak with the person(s) associated with the following vehicle:
A dark coloured Dodge pickup truck observed in the area and headed north on Highway 535 on May 7, 2026, between the hours of 9:45-11:00 pm, then again on May 19, 2026, between the hours of 11:45 pm and 12:40 am on May 20, 2026.
