(Nipigon, ON) Members of the Nipigon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop after a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Nipigon, Ontario.
On August 1, 2025 at approximately 2:00 am, officers were notified of a possible impaired driver near Nipigon, officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for impaired operation and taken back to the detachment for further testing.
Wyatt TURNER, 25 years old of Nipigon, Ontario has been charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and drugs - Criminal Code of Canada
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus) - Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Nipigon.
