STUNT DRIVER CHARGED IN NIPIGON

(NIPIGON, ON) - An individual is facing a Stunt Driving charge.
On February 28th, 2026, at approximately 1:40 pm, a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Nipigon Detachment utilizing a RADAR speed measuring device, located a 2020 Dodge Ram travelling 168 km/hr in a 90 km/hr zone.
A traffic stop was conducted. A 38-year-old from Armstrong, Ontario has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed, driving without a licence, and failing to surrender an insurance card.
The accused received a 30 day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 14-day vehicle impoundment, the driver is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
