Driver Confirmed; Call for Information
(NIPIGON, ON) - On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, shortly after 7:00 am, Nipigon OPP officers along with emergency medical services responded to a report of a fatal snowmobile incident near Settler’s Road in Nipigon resulting in a stretch of Highway 11/17 closing for several hours.
The youth involved in the incident has now been confirmed as the driver of the snowmobile.
