(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person for riding on the top of a moving train.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 3:00 pm, the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) OPP responded to a train stopped on the tracks between Dornie Road and County Road 30 in North Glengarry Township.

As a result of the investigation, Alexander PINTO, 23 years-old, of Mississauga was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Mischief
  • Enter on land on which a line work is situated

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
