PEDESTRIAN SERIOUSLY INJURED AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLE

(NORTH GLENGARRY, ON)- Members of the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, shortly after 3:00 pm, officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at the Intersection of Kenyon Street and Main Street Alexandria, North Glengarry Township.
A 25-year-old female sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital and then transported by Air ORNGE to a regional trauma centre for treatment. The roadway was closed to allow emergency crews to manage the scene safely. Roads have since re-opened.
The SD&G OPP continues to investigate, with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Collision Reconstructionist.
