(SOUTH DUNDAS TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a serious, three vehicle collision near South Mountain, northwest of Iroquois.

Officers, along with firefighters and paramedics, were called to the scene on Brinston Road at Snowbird Road shortly after 7:00 am on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

This was a head-on crash involving a car and pick-up truck, with a third vehicle also being damaged. A fourth driver had driven off the road in an effort to avoid the other vehicles.

The two drivers directly involved in the head-on collision, males aged 18 and 70, were transported to a regional trauma centre with serious injuries.

The SD&G OPP continues to investigate, with the assistance of an OPP Technical Collision Investigator and a Collision Reconstructionist.
