TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN SIGNIFICANT DRUG SEIZURE
Multiple charges laid
LONDON, ON (May 25, 2026) – A London man is facing a number of charges after a traffic stop in the east end of the city yesterday afternoon.
On Sunday, May 24, 2025, at approximately 2:30 pm, a London police officer was operating a marked police cruiser on Adelaide Street North when he observed a vehicle turn right onto Grey Street.
Checks of the vehicle revealed that the registered owner was on court-imposed conditions to not have care or control of a motor vehicle, and as a result, a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was arrested and the vehicle was impounded.
A search incident to arrest yielded the following items:
· Four grams suspected Cocaine
· Six grams suspected Heroine
· Nine grams suspected Crystal Methamphetamine
· 11 grams suspected Fentanyl
· 16 grams suspected Cocaine
· 63 grams suspected Crack Cocaine
· Three cellular phones
· Digital scale
· Canadian currency, value $610
Estimated total value of drugs seized: $13,150
As a result of the investigation, Daniel Al Khoury, 36, of London, has been charged with the following offences:
· Four counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking · Fail to comply with undertaking
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
