SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATIONS
Investigators believe there may be additional victims

LONDON, ON (May 7, 2026) – Members of the London Police Service have charged a London man in relation to multiple sexual assaults involving three teenaged girls and believe there may be additional victims.

The investigations began after police were notified on April 10, 2026, of sexual assaults and sexual interference involving two young girls.

Through the course of the investigation, police learned that on April 8, 2026, the suspect male used electronic communication to communicate with the girls, arranged transportation to his residence in the east end of the city, and provided drugs and alcohol to the victims before sexually assaulting them.

The suspect male was identified and arrested on April 13, 2026.

As the investigation continued, police were able to identify a third victim, resulting in further charges being laid.

The victims reported that inappropriate sexual contact occurred and, in one instance, a young female victim was choked by the suspect as well.

As a result of the investigations, members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have charged Cristian Hall-Berges, 37, of London, with the following offences:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual assault with choking
  • Sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
  • Sexual exploitation of a young person
  • Telecommunication with a person under or believed under 16 years for specific criminal offences
  • Telecommunication with a person under or believed under 18 years for specific criminal offences

The accused remains in custody and is expected to re-appear in court on May 8, 2026, in relation to his charges.

Police are releasing a photograph of the accused, as investigators believe there may be additional victims or individuals with information who have not yet contacted police.
