FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
Investigation ongoing
LONDON, ON (September 18, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service (LPS) Road Safety Section are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred in the east end of the city yesterday afternoon.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 4:20 pm, emergency crews responded to a serious collision in the 1400-block of Beckworth Avenue involving a vehicle and a scooter.
The male who was operating the scooter was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since succumbed to those injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle remained on scene.
The intersection was temporarily closed as investigators processed the area and collected evidence.
The investigation has now been taken over by the LPS Road Safety Section and remains ongoing.
