(BANCROFT, ON) - Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person for failing to comply with a prohibition order.

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, shortly after 11:00 am, officers conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Bancroft. One of the parties in the vehicle was found to be breaching the conditions of a prohibition order.

Paul WEUSTEN, 49, of Woodstock has been charged with failure to comply with a prohibition order regarding children- four counts.

The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on July 15, 2025.
