HASTINGS HIGHLANDS RESIDENT CHARGED WITH FAIL TO COMPLY

(BANCROFT, ON) - Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person for failing to comply with multiple release orders.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, shortly before 5:00 pm, officers were conducting traffic patrol on Highway 28 South when a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation. Officers recognized the passenger of the vehicle who was on the conditions of a release order.
As a result, Timothy GUNTER, 47, of Hastings Highlands was charged with the following:
- Failure to comply with a release order - 2 counts
- Fail to comply with probation order - 2 counts
The accused was held for bail and remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on September 4, 2025.
