Police seek possible witnesses and dashcam footage

(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a bus rollover that occurred last night on Highway 401 near Odessa.

On February 22, 2026, at approximately 7:15 pm, a mulit-agency response including OPP, paramedics, and local fire services responded to reports of a commercial passenger bus that had entered the ditch and rolled over in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 in the area of Old Wilton Road.

The bus was carrying 47 passengers along with the driver at the time of the incident. Eight individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries, including lacerations, broken bones and dislocations. Injured passengers were transported to two local hospitals for medical treatment.
