Two vehicle collision sends one driver to hospital with minor injuries

(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) - Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a person with impaired driving following a collision on Bath Road in Loyalist Township yesterday.

On Tuesday December 9, 2025, just after 10:00 am, L&A County OPP members were advised of a collision involving a possible impaired driver on Bath Road in the area of County Road 4 in Loyalist Township. Police attended the location and following an investigation, one involved driver was arrested and then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Kendal ATKIN, a 29-year-old from Toronto, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - drugs

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on January 13, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
