STUNT DRIVING LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES

Driver arrested and charged with multiple offences

(LENNOX AND ADDINGTON COUNTY, ON) - Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a person with several criminal and provincial charges following a traffic stop overnight.

On Tuesday March 3, 2026, just after 12:00 am, L&A County OPP members observed a vehicle travelling over 150km/h on County Road 2 in Loyalist Township. Officers stopped the vehicle and following an investigation, the driver was arrested.

Jesse HENDERSON, a 20-year-old from Loyalist Township, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - alcohol
  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus
  • Breach of probation
  • Stunt driving
  • Novice driver - BAC above zero
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Obstruct plate

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 14, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.
