Individual arrested for assault and mischief
On August 23, 2025, at approximately 3:30 am employees of a business in the area of Division Street and Princess Street were in the process of closing when an individual asked them for a cigarette.
The employees advised the individual they didn’t have a cigarette, which prompted the individual to assault one of the employees by punching them multiple times. The individual then left the area while threatening to return.
A short time later the employees heard glass breaking and discovered the individual outside the store front destroying the businesses windows and front door with a crowbar.
Members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded immediately and placed the individual under arrest.
The 35-year-old individual of Bath was charged with mischief exceeding $5000, assault and uttering threats.
