Kingston Police Special Services Execute Drug Search Warrant

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, members of the Kingston Police Special Services Unit, with assistance from the Emergency Response Unit and Canine Unit, executed a judicially authorized drug search warrant at a residence in the area of Stephen Street and Montreal Street. The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into active cocaine trafficking.
As a result of the search, officers seized the following:
- 253 grams of cocaine, with a street value exceeding $25,000
- Related drug packaging and paraphernalia
- A quantity of Canadian currency
A 42-year-old individual of Kingston, was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody. The accused has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance, contrary to the Controlled drugs and Substances Act.
