Kingston Police Street Crime Unit execute warrant, discover fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine hidden in stuffed animal

In August of 2025, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit launched an investigation into persons actively involved in the trafficking of fentanyl and other illicit drugs within the City of Kingston.

As a result of the investigation a Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant was obtained for a residence located on Weller Avenue, in Kingston.

On Wednesday August 13th, 2025, the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit and Canine Unit assisted with executing the warrant. During the search of the residence investigators located a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl hidden inside a stuffed animal. Investigators also discovered packaging materials and a digital scale inside the residence.

A 49-year-old individual from Kingston, a 38-year-old individual from Belleville, and a 40-year-old individual from Belleville were arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
