Kingston Police Street Crime Unit execute warrant, seize illicit drugs

In October of 2025, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit launched an investigation into persons actively involved in the trafficking of crystal methamphetamine and other illicit drugs within the City of Kingston. A Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant was subsequently obtained for a residence on Ford Street.
On Thursday October 30st, 2025, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit and Canine Unit, the warrant was executed. A subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of Crystal Methamphetamine, MDMA, LSD, GHB (Gamma-Hydroxybutyric), a digital scale, packaging materials and cash that was seized as proceeds from drug related offences.
A 34-year-old person from Kingston has been charged with the following offences:
• Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking ×3 (Crystal methamphetamine, GHB, Cocaine)
• Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (LSD)
• Possession of Proceeds of Crime
