Police arrest individual in possession of stolen motorcycle

On July 13, 2025, at approximately 9:50 pm members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division were conducting routine patrols in the area of Patrick Street and Railway Street when they observed an individual operating an un-plated motorcycle.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined that individual operating the motorcycle was a suspended driver. Upon physical examine of the motorcycle officers noted the key ignition had been punched and a portion of the VIN had been scratched off rendering it unreadable.
The 36-year-old accused individual of Kingston was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, alter/remove a vehicle identification number, three counts of breach of probation as well as driving while under suspension.
The accused was transported to Kingston Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
