Police investigating fatal vehicle collision.

On July 31, 2024, at approximately 11:00 pm members of the Kingston Police Patrol Division responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Bath Road west of Tanner Drive.
Upon investigation it was determined a motor vehicle travelling west bound and a motorcycle travelling east bound were involved in the collision.
A 32-year-old operator and a 22-year-old passenger of the motorcycle are deceased as a result of the collision.
A cyclist who was travelling in the area at the time of the collision also suffered minor injuries.
The Kingston Police Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Unit attended to the process the scene. As a result, Bath Road was closed for approximately 8 hours and The east bound lanes re-opened at approximately 7:30 am while the west bound lanes remain closed.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and no charges have been laid in relation to this collision.
