(LOYALIST TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the death of an inmate at Millhaven Institution in Bath, west of Kingston.
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at approximately 10:00 pm, an incident involving inmates occurred at the institution, resulting in one inmate sustaining life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital. The individual, identified as 28-year-old Darian DAIGNAULT, was pronounced deceased on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
