OPP INVESTIGATING SHOOTING INCIDENT IN PARIS

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - Police are seeking public assistance in relation to a shooting incident in the Town of Paris.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, shortly after 12:00 am, officers from the Brant County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Bradbury Crescent. Upon arrival, officers located one person with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital where they remain in stable condition.
Investigators believe two suspects approached the residence and discharged a firearm at the victim. The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle.
The first suspect is described as:
- Male
- Black
- Short with thin build
- Round face with small amount of facial hair
- Wearing all black clothing
The second suspect is described as:
- Male
- Wearing a sweater or coat that is white on the upper chest/shoulder area and dark on the bottom
Investigators believe this is a targeted incident. The OPP urges community members to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activity to police.
