MOTORIST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED

(QUINTE WEST, ON) - The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at approximately 9:30 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on Dundas Street West, Trenton, resulting in the arrest of the driver for being impaired.
Adam BONN, age 44, from Trenton, was charged with the following offences:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on June 25, 2026. Additionally, the vehicle they were operating was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.
