POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING FAIL TO REMAIN COLLISION IN MIDLAND

(MIDLAND, ON) - Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the assistance of the public following a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred Monday evening in Midland.
On April 27, 2026, between approximately 9:00 pm and 9:20 pm, officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving an e-bike rider at the intersection of William Street and Coral Springs Lane. The e-bike and a passenger vehicle were both travelling northbound on William Street when the collision occurred.
The driver of the involved vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The e-bike rider sustained minor injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
During the investigation, officers recovered debris from the scene, including a small black mirror cover consistent with a passenger vehicle. Police do not currently have further descriptors for the vehicle or driver.
