- Update #3 -OPP Continue Investigation into Suspicious Fire in PenetanguisheneUpdated Suspect Clothing and Information(PENETANGUISHENE, ON) - The Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a suspicious fire at a multi‑unit residential dwelling on Poyntz Street in Penetanguishene and has updated the clothing description of a suspect based on a photograph received by police.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are continuing efforts to locate and speak with Andrew HAWKE, 43, of Penetanguishene, who is now a suspect in relation to this suspicious fire. Investigators have obtained the attached photograph an individual wearing an orange head‑to‑toe snowsuit and carrying a number of personal belongings.
