On April 12, 2023 the Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation and Computer Forensics Units executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, 68-year-old, Jack Laakso was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
- Access Child Pornography
- Possess Child Pornography
- Make Available Child Pornography
He appeared in Bail Court on April 13, 2023 to answer to the charges.
