Around 9:10 pm on August 20, 2022, GSPS received a call regarding a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck at the intersection of Cote Boulevard at Chenier Street in Hanmer.
Members of our Traffic Management Unit, Rural Community Response Unit, and Patrol Operations attended the scene. The driver of the motorcycle had sustained life-threating injuries. City of Greater Sudbury Paramedics began life saving measures on the young man who was transported to hospital. Unfortunately, 22 year old Thomas Hogue was pronounced deceased at hospital by medical professionals.
