Fatal Train-Pedestrian Collision Claims Life of 41-Year-Old Woman

At approximately 6:50 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) responded to a report of a collision involving a train and a pedestrian on Harry Crescent, off Howey Drive.
Following the initial response, the GSPS Integrated Traffic Safety Unit (ITSU) and Detectives from our Major Crime Section arrived and assumed control of the investigation. GSPS continues to work in collaboration with the Coroner’s Office. At this time, there is no suspicion of criminality or foul play.
