Shortly after 10:15 pm on January 11, 2024, officers were dispatched to a bank on Main Street in Lively in relation to a Break and Enter. Information provided was that the bank’s security provider had received multiple alarms resulting in security being sent to the business. When security arrived at the business, individuals were seen fleeing the ATM vestibule.

Upon arrival, officers entered the vestibule and found that a hole had been cut in the drywall next to the ATMs in an attempt to gain access to where the money is stored.

It is believed that individuals involved in the incident fled in what was described as a light-coloured van prior to police arrival.

Detectives from our Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit are investigating the incident. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
