Project Paris leads to 21 arrests and the recovery of $150,000 worth of stolen property

This proactive initiative focused on individuals who posed a risk to public safety through bail compliance checks, warrant apprehensions, and targeted enforcement against high-risk individuals involved in drug trafficking and organized crime.
The project was a collaborative effort involving members of the Community Response Unit, Patrol Operations, and the Integrated Crime Section.
As a result of Project Paris;
- 21 individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants and/or new charges
- 28 new charges were laid under the Criminal Code (CC), Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA), and Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
- Officers executed a CDSA search warrant resulting in the seizure of:
- 24 grams of cocaine
- 122 Oxycodone pills
- Approximately $15,000 in cash
- $3,100 worth of drugs seized
- Officers recovered $150,000 worth of stolen property
